Right, i was having trouble with my pc. It was my g-card, ive now installed a new graphics card into my machine, all was working well.

Turned my pc on a few days ago and it failed to boot.
I got a blue screen which said, Cmos Error. Ive replaced the battery and now this blue screen has not showed its face again.

Upon starting the machine up it fails to boot. I get a frozen screen on the mobo gigabyte screen. Randomly rebooting when booting up. somtimes fails to boot at all and i dont even get to the gigabyte screen at all. Further reboots later i get a "Windows Recovery" screen, Run the repair or start as normally. Ive ran the repair a few times and it fails to find anything.

An other screen which i somtimes get is Page fault, Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area?!

Collecting data for crash dump. Dumping physical memory to disk "55".

Around 20-30mins of rebooting later i finally get my pc on. Everytime i boot my pc up it takes this amount of time everytime.

Can anyone give me any ideas w.t.f is wrong with my pc?

Many Thanks,
Pauliee.

Right, ive used the memtest86.

1st Attempt - Rebooted Straight away
2nd Attempt - Crashed
3rd Attempt - Got to 45% and rebooted
4th Attempt - Got to 45% and rebooted.

Must be a memory problem then?

My friend had a similar problem his computer was taking over 30mins of re-booting, until it went on and loaded windows.

Then one day it would not start, I was called in to fix it and I found the memory was died, fixed it by installing new sticks.

Do as alexhull24 suggest, try one stick at a time.

Right, i r back. I placed the suspected back stick back in into the DDR 2, 2 slot (1,3/ 2,4) and the mem test was fine. I placed all 4 sticks back in, failed to boot. I took one out from slot 1 where the suspected ram was in, failed to boot, took out 3 slot so i now only have 2gig in and it booted up fine. My 1-3 slots must be broken or somthing.

:/

Any clue about this one? i have gotten that a few times along with
Kernal Data Inpage Error

one minute i will get them, then i wont see them for a few days before i get a couple and they go away and return, i just have no clue what mine are- check the RAM volts and made sure it was fully connected but cant think what else the problem could be
