So I come back from 12 days away.
Turn my pc on and it won't connect to the Internet.
Run trouble shooting it's telling me to reinstall the network adapter drivers, same with the audio.

Anyone had this before its all very strange.
It's X79 Asus rampage mobo.

Thanks :)

hmmm... not too sure

try device manager... right click on audio and network adapters and uninstall (separately ofc) and then reboot and let windows install them again..

if that don't work, you will need to use another PC, get a pen drive and download the latest drivers from your motherboard website

Sounds like you have had windows updates and its replaced your network driver.

For some reason the WU was particular bad last week I've had to fix 3 PC's at work which were affected by one of the updates.

+1

true, it could be a WU problem, check your WU settings, i usually have it to tell me when updates are available and i can choose when and what to download... not doing it all automatically then screwing up your system

Still uninstall all the current drivers and reinstall them mind... best thing to do in my mind
