PC just crashed

Hi, hope someone can help. I was just on my other PC using msn when i got the
bsod- it said something about the bios im not sure exactly and then the pc turned off. Every time i turn it on now i get no signal to the monitor and after about 10 seconds the alarm on the mobo starts going off!

Any ideas would be great?

seems to me you need a new driver :P parden the pun (system crashed, new driver) haha

Hm... reset bios? reseat memory ? power drain?
 
Alarm on the motherboard would suggest an overheating problem somewhere.
Take the side off the case and investigate.
 
If you have your mobo manual to hand it might reveal some secrets about the alarm. Try taking the cpu fan off and blowing the dust out of it. also sometimes dust settles in the the ram contacts, take the ram out and blow in the slots.

Theres normally a jumper on the mobo for resetting the cmos, or you can take the battery out the mobo for a few minutes.

If these dont work then it would suggest something might be fried! you need to find a spare pc or a friend who trusts you, try their graphics card, ram and last case scenerio cpu.
