weird.

i was just sitting her play games on this lovely saturday evening when my PC just died and turned off. now it will not turn back on

my dad said this happened earlyer to when he was just browsing the net. but when i tried it it started up again no probs. atm it wont

i am using the laptop atm to right this. its been working 100% for the last 2 months. now it keeps dying.

any ideas??

the little green light on the front of the case flashes and then stops.

now its booting up again :eek:

No fans, no beep, no HD spinning? An burning smell at all?

Check all the connections, and then unplug the PSU from the wall for 30 seconds then replug it and turn it on, if it's dead with nothing spinning then my bet is the PSU.

Maybe an faulty psu best bet is to try salvage an psu from somewhere and try

could be the mobo if its not the psu, ive heard of similar problems to this in the neo 2 plat help thread in the mobo forum, might be worth having a look.

Dust inside my psu was giving me this problem on one my systems a few weeks ago...
I cleaned the dust out and it been working fine now..
