pc just stops on its own like some one just unplugged it ,is the power supply up to the job?
orr could it be a heat prroblem any thanks please

sounds like heat to me, thermal shut down

had this prob with old rig, under warranty they swapped cooler, a few weeks later same prob so bought a big ass copper jobby and it never happened again.

could be wrong but if it was down to psu surely it just wouldnt power up?

Is it a new build? Which parts are new?

530W is more than enough so I'm pretty sure it's not that.

It could be a heat issue but even the stock cooler is more than adequate unless you have massive overclock or it's not installed properly.

Did you have anything running in the background that could shut the machine down? With my old rig if I leave core temp running in the taskbar it randomly shuts down my pc.

Is there an option in BIOS that will shut down your PC when it overheats?

the cpu fan might be set via bios to kick in at certain temps, drop the threshhold or disable, cant remember what the actual option is called, smartfan or something daft
