From the video it looks like it blackscreens while you are not doing anything. Has it ever been stable or always been problematic since built ?

Some points to get started with.

The Kingston Beast ram is expo ram , have you enabled the expo profile in the bios ? If you have does it also crash while the ram is running at stock 4800mhz speeds?
Are you able to run any benchmarks like Cinebench R23 , Prime95 or 3Dmark? does it crash during these?
Have you done a clean driver instal with DDU and reinstalled the latest Nv drivers?
Do you have any temp monitoring software installed to check cpu temps ? could be a bad mount on cpu.

If you look in Event Viewer under critical events it will show a code for why the PC crashed , it may help to diagnose.

from the list above i have xmp enabled at 6khz,ive rune cinebench r23 18096pts no crashes ,ive done ddu no change with that.i havent monitored temps and there was one thing in event viewer that i think might be the problem but unsure "Display driver amdwddmg stopped responding and has successfully recovered". i will try setting ram back to core clock see if that changes

Is that an amd driver crash with an Nv gpu? Are you running the second screen through the IGP?

Couple of other points. Chipset drivers installed before any other software? Also monitor gpu temp , is common cause of driver crashes.

Yeah the amd driver is for second monitor correct. just ran heaven bench mark no crash on extreme no gpu temp spikes. chipset drivers where installed first. Honestly am clueless at this point

Why not run the second monitor from the Nv gpu ? does it not have the correct port ?

I personally always try to simplify the issues so I would suggest you pull the plug on the second monitor and see if the PC is then stable. If it is stable then you are closer to a solution. The IGP in the new Ryzen processors are very low spec so it may not be upto the task of even outputting video.

yeah unfortunately the gpu only has one hdmi slot and i dont have a display cable spare :( but never had this issue before
is it possible it could have something to do with windows ?

Anything is possible and windows could be the problem but if it is then it is hard to diagnose. The easy test is to unplug the second monitor for a day or 2 and see if the crashes continue, if they stop then you have found the issue.

Do you need to install the AMD Adrenaline software to use that igp ? not really sure how the 2 sets of drivers will actually work together and that may be a problem

@Gaz1998 - check your BIOS configuration as well as following @Haz123 's advice. You are starting an application through the GPU driver and then after the flicker it launches through the iGPU driver. You can get such flicker when the OS has to choose between video drivers. There is a conflict somewhere. The OS needs to know how to handle two display drivers.

My memory is a bit vague now but my last PC had an Intel CPU with iGPU and an NVIDIA GPU. I had my main monitor driven by the GPU and secondary by the iGPU. However this only worked as I wanted with the correct BIOS configuration and also some Intel SW which worked with the OS to allow the iGPU to act as a secondary display.

Definitely try what Haz123 suggests. You have to try & eliminate possible causes until the problem goes away, then add them back in until they appear again. It's the only way you can be sure.
The good thing is, you have a working computer to do these tests with, not something that is non-booting.
For the sake of a cable or convertor, it's not worth having issues, so see if dropping down to 1 GPU can solve this for you.

So far so good with the one monitor ordering a display port cable and we will see but think we have figured it out as when i boot with just the gpu hdmi no flash but as soon as i boot with it plugged in to motherboard also flashing comes back

Yeah it looks like there is a conflict between the 2 gpus. There may be a way to get them both to play nicely but the easiest thing to do is run both screens from your 4080.

Issue solved!!! Yeah i just bought a display cable for main monitor and run the other display through the hdmi no crashes since, definitely the igpu causing the issue. I Appreciate the constant support

Glad to help and happy your issue appears to be resolved.

The bios with some AM5 mobos are currently not perfect, update now and again and this issue may be fixed just by bios updates. You should be able to use the igpu to run a second monitor but it may take a fair bit of troubleshooting or bios updates to get there. I think you made the correct choice to just get a DP cable and run your screens through the 4080, it is certainly the simplest path and being a simple fellow I like the easy road.
