Hello All,
I hope someone can point me in the right direction with this issue please?
Originally the issue started because my 10 year old 4 in 1 Printer died. So I replaced it with another HP product as I really liked the old one. But there was some old drivers left behind and Windows Update kept trying to install the missing drivers for a machine that no longer existed. Therefore it would fail and eventually during the night my PC would reboot after a crash. So eventually I got tired of this and decided to reformat and reinstall Windows 10. 64bit.
This is not something I do very often these days and it was a struggle to remember how best to prepare for it. In the end I disconnected all the other drives and propertly installed it on my M2 drive as before. But I have a new issue now. But with similar outcomes.
The machine is crashing and restarting. At least once a day now.
I managed to be here when one BSOD instance happened and saw the error code and the "violation" and when I googled it, it basically described it as a driver issue.
Now I have installed loads of drivers since the install. I can't work out which piece of software is causing the issue though. I took a screen shot of my desktop before reinstalling Windows so I could remind myself what Apps I had installed.
Is there any way of trying to figure out which piece of software is the offending one?
Specs
12600K - on stock speeds. Never clocked.
MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4
32GB Ram - Corsair again not clocked
MSI RTX 3070
Creative Soundblaster Internal Card
Samsung 980 2TB
Corsair 850W
So decent components. Just something's not quite right, and I need a bit of help working out what it is please?
Many thanks in advance. Please ask any questions if I have forgotten anything
