pc keeps cutting out

every so often, my PC will kinda cut out, like my monitor will just lose its signal. There will be a light on my keyboard and it stay on untill i power off my PC and power on again, plus i can still hear my fans. I dont know what is wrong. Im thinking its either my graphics card or motherboard. Everything is at stock speed and not overclocked. what the hell is wrong ??

There is no error or anything.

Looks like its either a faulty monitor or graphics card. Do you have another monitor and graphics card to test with?

Thanks, im thinking its graphics card. If it was the monitor, the entire system wouldnt crash aswell i wouldnt have thought.

I took everything out and reseated it all last night, plus reloaded default setup in BIOS. so far no problems although I doult it would have fixed anything.

Random crashes could indicate a fault with your memory, try running Memtest to exclude your RAM from the list of troublemakers.

Ill try that. Can I run it from a USB or do I have to burn it onto a disk as an ISO ?

Ive just had a long battlefield bad company 2 session and the PC didnt cut out, so im at a loss because the problem only occurs like once every few days, and has only happened twice, when I was on youtube and when I was launching a game.

I am thinking its either motherboard or graphics card. I just hope to god its not motherboard.
