My PC keeps shutting down after a new CPU. just black screen in the middle of games, it's fine when not gaming.

upgraded from a 3600 to a 5700x3d didn't chance any other parts, i had to update bios.
is it likely to be a faulty CPU?

Hi guy's, i have an NZXT 280 AIO so temps are good at about 60c

i didn't update any drivers i will try that, i did reset bios because it was booting was the fans stuck at 100% and i was told to reset bios.
i did set XMP after the bios reset i have 32gb of 3200mhz ram so just assumed that would work fine.
i will find the model info if needed

If it was a bad CPU, I wouldn't expect BF2042 to work. Have you got any other games you can test?

just low power games but thats the ones that keep blacking screening,
fortnight, sims and stuff like that all black screen.

bios is reset, i will test with one set of ram. i only have one PSU but can buy one to test if you think that could be it

i think the PSU is faulty, id got a friend to nip round with his 850w and its all good.
do you think 750 is enough for the system, or could the problem the PSU was not strong enough?

Any overclocking on the GPU?
i do have an oc that's been stable for a long time, but i will test without it now as i didnt think to be so.

sorry guys as said, i fitted my buddy's 850w PSU and all was good. so i ordered and fitted a 850w RMx and ive not had a problem since
