Hi

When i boot up my 2nd pc my router disconnects. It doesn't matter if My pc is connected to router by cable or not it still switches it off...could this be a power issue in my psu....it has only started being a problem in the last few weeks. I have tried new mains power cable and a new lan cable but it has made no difference...the pc is plugged into a belkin surge protector extension lead and so 4 things are being powered from the same wall socket, the router is powered from a different wall socket but still gets disconnected from the internet...any ideas what the problem is

it loses internet connection and the lights go out and it resets itself.....lose connection for a couple of minutes tops.....is it not the pc power supply causing it or do you think it is the router psu....just saying because it only happens when the pc boots up
