hey guys,

Having a problem with my system.

was just browsing the internet there, and listening to youtube..all of a sudden my mouse stopped responding..and the keyboard..

but it didnt stop playing the music, and didnt reboot or such until I hard powered down with the power button on the case..

i had this happen before, but i upgraded the m2 SSD for more capacity and a fresh install of Windows 10..

which i thought solved the problem..but no..

ALSO - NO OC ON ANYTHING, ALL STOCK SETTINGS!

any help ASAP would be great, thanks!

Was it the exact same problem and how long was it running stable for with the addition of the m.2/re-intsall?

Also, have you had a recent Windows update coinciding with problem, and do you have 'critical updates only'?

Wd m.2 ssd
1 tb ssd storage
EVGA gq 750w Psu

Same problem, but first time it happened it did reboot itself. It only happens once in a blue moon, once since new ssd install (hang was this morning)

I’m not sure on my update settings. What do you advise?

From your added input it doesn't sound 10 update related - although it tries its best.

Memory speed/amount?

As an opening salvo, I would run memtest HCI (400%) - as this will help rule out the memory and it's a quick simple test if you're not using the system.
