Hi all,

I was just wanting to know if any of you guys, when cleaning your rigs inside from dust ever check the capacitors for signs of wear? I've just cleaned mine and I can see that one of the capacitors on my motherboard next to the 4 pin power connection is showing signs of wear (discoloured) but not yet leaking. I have got a new one to replace it, so has anyone else ever changed one? and if so did you have any issues afterwards?

I would advise against doing anything like this but each to their own. The capacitors on the board will be charged so you will need to make sure these are discharged before doing anything.
