I have a B 550 Tomahawk mobo with a Ryzen 7 3700 x. Couple months ago I got a ram error on the LED error. I took my PC to the shop and they told me that both the cPU pin and mobo socket seems to be damaged. However, they got it to boot by plugging in the cpu fan in the pump header instead of the cpu fan header . Now some months later I removed my gpu in order to remove a small screw that got stuck inbetween and now I get the same error. I didn't remove the CPU, coooler or ram . I tried plugging on the cpu cooler( wraith prism) in both the cpu and pump header and nothing changed , still no boot. I reset the mobo battery and power drained the pc . Nothing works . Before replacing the mobo and cpu I would like to ask whether someone can guess the issue , since i did not change anything wit the cpu or ram?

I removed every stick. I had 32 GB installed with 4 ram sticks. worked with 1 and 1 more in dual channel. Others are probably faulty but only time will tell , for now it works with 16 GB. This is not my main PC so I am just glad it works even like this. I guess if the CPU and mobo were broken they would not even post like this.

If you've got it working with dual channel ram then you got off light. When this happened to me I could only get my PC to work with one stick in one slot.
At first I removed all and added just 1 stick until I got it to boot. Then I tried to get one more to work for dual channel 16 gb
