I just was trying around and decided to overclock my pc. Did a clock to 3ghz with Ram to 800.

Ram is rated for 1066.

Mob is Blitz Formula.

After booting up into Vista and testing (seemed fine at the new settings), checked asus's website for a bios upgrade. I ran the bios upgrade successfuly it seemed but pc wouldnt restart(was stuck) so after a minute i manualy turned it off.

Turned it on and no screen. CPU fans whir at full speed and no video output. Tried resetting using the buttons on the motherboard but no result. :(

Help appreciated. Need my pc for work and play.

Try removing the CMOS battery, resetting the BIOS using the pins, wait a minute then put it back to normal (replace the battery and so on) and see if that works... usually fixes it most of the time.

There is cmos reset button at the back of the pc on this motherboard. Pushing it doesnt do anything. Suppossed ot be a special feature on the Asus Blitz formula. It just shuts down the pc nothing else.

Opening it up.

yep just findimng the pins now. I tried following the manual which said push the reset button with the psu unplugged. didnt work. Gonna go manual. Battery looks tricky to take out

ok got battery out. No clue about the pins. Seems like there are pins but to turn the rest button on. Which was on the whole time. I hope this works.
