PC not connecting to monitor????

Hi my nephew got a custom build gaming pc from overclockers. The computer will not connect to his new monitor or tv. The monitor works fine with laptop and ps4. The new pc does not beep on start up. Any ideas???

First of all, make sure all cables are pushed in. Power cable to videocard and mobo. Also check the PSU.

Next step, make sure videocard is pushed in.

If that fails I'd contact OC tomorrow morning, incase videocard/mobo was damaged during transit

Out of interest....what custom build gaming pc are we talking about?
Just wondering if you are trying to connect to a monitor from an onboard video output connection ( onboard video may have been disabled in the bios), rather than from an actual video card output.

Not beeping on startup isn't a major issue, just might mean there's no internal speaker attached. When you turn it on does anything happen? Lights or fans spin up?
