Pc not detecting Wireless Network?

Basically i setup a wireless network in my house. using a d-link wireless router and edimax wireless pci card.

My first works perfectly, this is the one where i setup the router. i left the router hardwired while i went next door to install the pci card on pc2.

however, pc2 didnt detect the network at all. So i decided to take pc 1 next door and try that, and it works fine.

i take it upstairs and it still works fine, i take pc2 next to router and it still wont work.

So does anyone have any ideas why pc2 wont detect the network at all while pc1 will do it fine!

sorry for complicated explanation.

i tried the edimax card in pc1 and it works fine , it detects wireless network fine.

however, on pc2 it doesn't detect it at all. I am going to try network stumbler on it just now.
