Using an X58 UD7with an SSD 120 OCZ (plugged in Sata 2.0) and 1TB WD 6/gbs plugged into SATA 3.0. However when I go to install windows, no drives pop up. Is there a bios option I need to configure?

Even some quickfire ideas could be helpful here guys, sorta just sitting here at laptop waiting for response : ) Not to many bios settings I want to mess around with untill we have some sort of idea!

Are you using Windows 7?

Can you hear the mechanical drive spin up, double check SATA connectors.

Only thing you would need to change in the BIOS is set the SSD to ACHI mode.

Right guys, sorry to be a pain in the ass but the problem has come back again. Windows sees it, its in device manager and enabled, however in my computer my 1TB HD is not there, only my SSD. Any thoughts?

I had this in Windows 7 recently... open computer management, then disk management. Need to assign a different letter to your 1TB drive. No idea why it does this though. My DVD drive was assigned as D, so I changed that to E and the HDD back to D. This should sort it :)
