Now and again when I turn my PC off at night it freezes on the 'logging off' screen. This is prior to been on for around 12 hours, but not sure if that has any affect with it.

Trust 550W PSU

Any comments would be appreciated,

Thanks

I have Norton anti virus, but not open. I also use ad-aware SE and spybot search and destroy, none of these which are open when shutting down.

I usually only have Steam, xfire, logitech setpoint, msn open when i shut down.
For future purposes shall I just close everything I can before shutting down?

Thanks

Norton has an annoying ccapp.exe which can hinder shutdown, experienced it numerous times when I still used Norton.

Ok mate, ill check in my processes next time I shut down and try to get rid of them all. Was scared as I thought it may have been my PSU causing me problems.

Thanks for the help

ccApp always gets closed by windows for me. has never crashed on this process. sometimes I get some random ones that don't terminate that you manually have to self terminate but the Pc always completes it's shut down procedure.
