PC not powering up straight away?

Hi,
My Coolermaster Cosmos has been erratically not powering up on the button for a while now but is now doing it every time. I have to hold the power/reset button down for approx 10 seconds, press again, then it will fire up. Any ideas if this could be the PSU giving up? The PSU is about 5 years old, an HFX 1050W and has been brilliant.
If I restart through Windows, no problem. Just when I power up from off.
Any help would be great, I'm stumped and don't have another PSU to try out.
Cheers.

Could be also switch of the case breaking.
Disconnect power switch from motherboard and swap reset switch into pins on mobo and try that.

BIOS battery (CR2032) dying could be another cause of problems and at least cheap to replace.

Cool, will try both those. Already put a new BIOS battery in to check that, no change. I've also managed to get hold of a good PSU to try.
Thanks guys, appreciated.

As a quick follow up that is slightly amusing.
I tried the suggestions but to no avail, I resigned myself to getting another PSU. The night before I was going to put the PSU in I powered the PC down as normal then pulled the plug from the wall as I was going to work on it and wanted it totally 'dead'.
Curiosity made me plug it back in to try it one last time. It powered up straight away and has been fine ever since.
Screw you electricity. :D:D
