pc not seeing hard drive

Hi all,
on my other post, I have just changed my 2 hard drives.

1st one I ghosted over to my new 1tb drive and it works fine.

I have just plugged in my 2nd new 1tb drive (where my old 2nd drive was)

but the pc does not see the drive.

I have been in manage and disc management and it does not see it there also.

I have checked the connections and they are all fine.

anything else I could try please (windows 8 64)

I have had a look at the hidden files and have dound the hard drive, but it says this..

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

all sorted now.

I changed the sata number that I had it plugged into my mobo. it was in 3, it is now in 2 and the pc now see it. formatting it now
