Pc not turning on

[/IMG] the cable with blue is the pci-e one going into the gpu. The one above it is going into the motherboard. (tried with and without it) and the bottom left one is the vga cable going into the gpu, is that correct? As soon as I use the blue cable though, which is what I need, nothing works.

Yes it came with it all but not sure if it was with the new gpu or psu. How am I suppose to use the pci-e slot on the gpu, where would the other end go, the cable only fits the cpu slot. I can see if there's another pci-e cable

Use one of the other VGA cables (black plug) the same as in VGA 1. plug it into VGA 2 and plug it into your GPU. Don't worry if you have the extra 2 pin plug spare.

The vga that is currently going into the gpu from psu has a 6 pin vga coming from it which fits into the gpu. The the pc starts up but it doesn't seem to run well. Screen will flicker black every now and again and the bios screen takes like 5, minutes to load. And won't allow me to even access the bios

Looking at photo of your PSU the bottom left one is it labelled VGA or CPU? Looks like you've plugged in two CPU cables and only one VGA into the PSU

I have a vga cable with 8/8+6 connectors connected. And 1 cpu slot with 8/4 connected to motherboard at the top left of mobo. May call someone in to do it, typical as now I'm a miss watch dogs which is one reason I upgraded in the first place :-(

Going by this picture there is no cable with a blue plug.

Is the cable in VGA 1 a 6+2 and 6 pin combined?

Assumed with a powerful card like that you would need to use two separate cables.

Did that blue cable come with the PSU?

You have two cables connected to the graphics card but only one of them is in PSU? If blue is PCI-E then move it into a VGA slot because currently it is in CPU 1..
