Afternoon all.

I have been asked to build my brothers PC for his Christmas Present from my parents, but have been limited to a budget of £350 to do so. Obviously with this budget the usual hardware I would go for is way out of question, so looking for advice on more budget items.

I do not need a Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse or OS thankfully. In addition, the case already obtained is an Aspire X-Infinity.

In addition, there are going to be some games played on the machine, but nothing high spec. We are talking Age of Empires maximum here.

What would you guys recommend? and thanks in advance.

Something like this might be suitable, I don't know if you need a PSU but I've left a bit of space in the budget to put towards it.

Anything missed?

I'd go for the milanochris one, but if you do, bare in mind you'd have to overclock it to get nice performance. 3Ghz is easily achievable on this cpu.

If you don't wanna overclock I'd go for the AMD one in the first reply.
