PC on Desk or Under?

Just curious to know, how many of you have your PC 'on the desk' or 'under the desk' as i am toying as to which would be the best for me?

I quite like the idea of seeing 'My' PC on the desk in all its glory but not sure about it as i do like an un-cluttered desk!!

I had mine on my desk for quite a while but when I went from 2 to 3 monitors, I almost ran out of room, then when I went to 4 monitors, I was worried about weight.

So now, my pc sits on a stand beside the desk

its about half the height of the desk.

I just wouldn't have it sitting on the floor.

Under the desk as it's way too heavy to sit on it.

PC is housed in a Corsair 540 Air and sits under the desk.

Neither - Corsair 540 sitting beside my desk on an old bedside cabinet about half the height of my desk.

Always had it under/next to since my first PC, its a waste of valuable desk space which could be used to important things like pizzas and beer. Besides that some of my PC builds have been way too tall and heavy to keep on a desk.

i usually have mine under, but this is why i dont right now :cool:

the desk is deeper than the wardrobe lol

On the floor to the side of the desk, but on wooden plinth to give the bottom intakes breathing room.

thanks, its a work in progress still.

i took advantage of spare monitor(left) to have the dual monitor ive always wanted that wasnt on a dual/quad stand as any other times were so so, plus having the window on case makes a nice touch, just need another BenQ GL2250 :cool:

edit: pointless bit of info, but i could fit 5 or 6 of the same towers on this desk(without monitors of course or 3 with both monitors) all set up, its that large lol

Under my desk. Always has been save for my first one many years back when I was at uni. The noise of fans and hard drives would drive me nuts let alone trying to find the desk space!

Mines on the desk at the moment but my next build (not for a good while yet) will be m-atx in a smaller case so will go on a shelf under the desk.

A full-size PC? Under or at the side. A SFF (ITX, not mATX) or NUC? I'll stick that behind the main monitor.

I have mine on my desk to the right of me, on a sort of side desk part. See my Sig for picture.I used to have it under my desk due to space.But since then moved rooms and has more space to support it properly.

I prefer it like that as it is out of the way. And also easier to check, make adjustments etc. As it weighs like 30kg and much easier than hoofing it out from under the desk.

My current pc is under the desk which i find annoying as it can be a pain to get to the USB ports etc. I guess i could get a Hub for the desk.

My PC is currently next to my desk as its too tall to go under and too big to go on it. Looking downsizing though as as much as I love the case. It's just too big.
