What broadband upload/download speeds are required for up to 4 people gaming fom the same location?

2Mb download and maybe 1.5Mb/2Mb upload as minimum.

The problem though comes with the ping/lag/jitter caused by such a **** connection

thanks, I don't think download speeds will be a problem, its more the garbage upload speeds most broadband providers offer in the UK.

depends what service you;re on i get 17meg up with sky on their fibre to the cabinet connection which should be the same for any other isp offering it.
