ok parts arrived at 10:30 am this morning when i ordered them at about 4pm yesterday, so absolutely fantastic service by overclockers!
All the boxes were ok apart from the cpu box which was bashed and torn but i dont think it would have caused any damage.
my problem though, is power...
everything has changed since the last time i built a pc, and the connectors are different... on the case fans (antec 300) i have a female connector on each, but all of the corsair power supplies are also female so i cannot connet.
however, i have a plug here which attachesto the second power port on the graphics card and switches to 2 male power supplies... as i got excited and everything ended up in a big bundle i dont know if this came with the case or not as i found it in the graphics card box...
can i use this? can i take power from the graphics card to use for the fans? i cant see any other way of doing it.
everything else seems to be going ok... ive got the cables looking tidy, the fenrir is absolutely bloody massive! which made putting the motherboard in a bit fiddly.
