Hello all

My current PC keeps blue screening and games keep crashing, I thought it was a faulty new 1080ti which was the cause but it was sent back and I have been told it is fine. In the mean time I found a old GPU and put that in my system and I still crashed. I have test memory, chkdsk all HDD with bad sector check and ran prime on CPU for 8 hours with no problems on any so at a loss to the cause. I have reinstalled windows 10 3 times still the same results.

So I think I will just have to bite the bullet and get some new parts

I'm thinking about getting but any input would be great. I play all types of games and try to play in highest setting on 1080 monitor at 144mhz

Was also thinking about a new
Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 PCI-e 3.0 x 4 NVMe Solid State Drive

I have a 128gb Crucial SSD at the moment, so not sure if I'd see a difference worth the spend.

I've been out of the computer business for such a long time I would love some input, my current cpu is a i7 2600K so old but was working fine for all the games I played.

My budget is around the £1000 mark but can go to 1500 for a good reason, I have 1000watt Corsair PSU and a new 4TB WD cav Black, HDD case, so just need the 3 parts I think.

Thanks and sorry for the long post

*EDITED* Changed the CPU to correct one

I found an old 550 watt PSU, using it to power cpu, mobo and gpu (old GTX570) and main ssd, PC seems more stable, old PSU powering fans and HDD's
