Pc powering off

Hi my pc just started to power off as of today happend 1st time playing grid2 then tried prime 95 done the same thing my psu is a corsair ax 1200 is it dying?..
 
Sorry but your post doesn't make sense. Can you describe what exactly is happening and what you were doing at the time?
 
Sorry I went to play grid 2 today after playin oblivion when I launched the game the pc just powered off. When I started it up again it powered off again going into windows I just changed the power lead and it's been priming for 6 mins horsy. I'll leave it on for a while to see how it goes.

Ok a wee update I got the corsair psu out this morning. and noticed one of the 24 pin leads had abit of melted plastic on it this is the second time this had happend to a psu in my pc I'm prime 95ing with my nephews psu with o. Of my cards connected. Just want to make sure it's the psu before I get a new one. I'll leave priming for a while.
