:(

Just installed a h100 into my rig cause I fancied a change to my antec liquid cooler. Change over was fine, simple install been doing building for a while now.

Go to power it on, it all runs and lights up, doesn't post and just switches off. Tried another psu, same problem.

Tried without gpu, same problem.

Took off the cooler to see if the CPU gets warm which it does so power is getting to it.

I'm thinking motherboard? :( tried with one stick of ram etc also no different.

Perfect timing!!

I say 'something' because on the H100i there is a 'dummy' 3-pin connector that runs off the molex power cable that plugs into this cpu header to allow the motherboard to boot. I'm not sure if this is the same with the previous model.

I had a similar problem a while ago and fixed it by moving the gpu to a different slot. Don't know if it will work for you.

No it doesn't even post, just shuts off, tries again and again until I turn it off.

Swapping gpu slot didn't work, neither does no gpu. Can hear the pump working on the h100 etc all fans spinning.

Pull the battery, pull the power lead and press the power button few times to discharge any remaining energy. this resets your bios. If you have an overclock u may wana save the settings first. (on a usb or write em down)

Now it won't work with the intel cooler, hmph!!

Tried other ram still nothing, noticed the bios has a code of 55 when trying to boot which could mean memory but it clearly isn't my ram. PITA!

Update :(

Bought a new mobo, same problem, it doesn't try to boot repeatedly the fans just stay spinning on the gpu and what's connected to my fan controller, the fans connected to the motherboard don't work? so confused it's really annoying me now.

I can only think it's the CPU now but always thought they were so rare to fail.
