okay so now that its here in the slightly more serious section I think you should consider theese

okay do you have a GPU if so then plug it into that

If you have a gfx card then your monitor cable should be connected to that and not the motherboard port.

It would help if you told us the full specs. It could be a number of things, quite a few could be fixed by a motherboard bios flash although you may have a board that needs a flash for the cpu to work in it which is why it would help if you listed the parts.
