Just need to run this by you guys.
c: - ssd
d: - ssd
Thursday evening my pc locked up, very rare but ok, rebooted and an hour later I get a lock and a blue screen.
On rebooting C drive has gone, powered off reset cables powered on and everything seemed fine for an hour or so then pop, C goes again.
Friday morning I get an image of C just in case.
remove 2nd nvidia 680 to ease power load(just in case) and give access to drive cables
Swap cables on drives around
C goes again
change ports of drives around
C goes again
**assume it's the c drive ssd faulty, remove and replace with WD velociraptor and restore image of c
C drive disappears
Assume it's the sata 3 ports then and swap all drives to sata 2 ports
D drive disappears
At this point I'm assuming it's something further up where the sata 2 and sata 3 ports come together. Just interesting that it almost always seems to be the SSD's going.
anything else anyone can think of to narrow it down?
