PC problems :(

Hey,
My friend has recently purchased a new PC. All custom bought. Problem is when he boots the PC up all he gets is a constant beep and the fault diagnostics do not light up. All the fans start running though.

Here are his specs:

msi 965 platinum (followed by the 975 platinum, purchased after first failure)
corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 (800mz) is a 2 GB matched pair of DDR2 SDRAM
core2 duo 2.4 1066mhz 4mb cache
palit g-force8800gts 640Mb
raptor sata 150gb
540w corsair PSU

Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Constant beeps usually indicate faulty memory.
Try the sticks in different slots or pull them all out bar 1 and try it then.
You can google for beep i.d's specific to your/his board.
