Hi Guys, I am wondering if you can help me out.
My PC is having some serious issues booting up.
A while ago, a usb cable broke in the front usb ports of my Coolermaster Cavalier 3, which broke one of the ports. since then, when my pc boots, it will hang at the bios or count the wrong amount of ram in the system, then hang. It has also stopped recognising my second hard drive, although i can still access this in windows vista when i do the search for new hardware wizard.
I updated the BIOS of my mobo (Asus M2V) but this hasnt changed things.
If i keep rebooting the pc, then eventually, after about 10 times it will start ok, but it will NEVER automatically find the second hard drive, and the pc can be left on for days at a time with no issues at all.
Any ideas as to what might be going on here? Or what I can do to sort this out? I am pretty much a noob at this lol

thanks for the quick response, i have tried it, but it hasnt made much difference, it still has problems booting, and will not find my second hard drive, i wonder if i have damaged the mobo in someway. i have been looking for an excuse to attempt a first build lol
