I really want one but don't think I can spare the money for the amount I play racing sims :p

If you could try one you would find the money.
Its the best bit of kit i have seen for a long time.
At the moment its the nearest to driving a real car you can get.

Pfft, I love my G25. but there is some pretty serious kit out there. A few examples

Act Labs http://www.act-labs.com/products/race1.htm
Frex (check out the simcon motion) http://www.frex.com/gp/

Although Simcon has nothing on this from Force Dynamics

Ok so your average sim racer wont be buying that or the simcon motion but I know a few who by the high end equipment from the likes of Frex.

This is one is acutally pretty cool. Petter and Henning Solberg driving RBR on the Force Dynamics rig. RBR is pretty damn hard and Henning flies through the stages. RBR must get a few things right then :)

The problem i have always had is people no matter what will ram you off in corners and use you as their brakes.

There's a warning that comes on screen before you connect to the Demo servers in LFS stating that the behaviour of the demo users should not be taken as standard for licensed racers. Try and look for a teamserver with some members of the team on, they are most likely acting as admin and booting the idiots.

Playing the demo you have no unique identifier, once you pay your license name is used to track all your online racing. Bans etc can then be applied to numpties.

The force dynamics setup is amazing but at what cost.
Whats your wife going to say with the noise and vibration in the house.
