PC randomly freezing up ? Help Brown/black screen

I swear i have bad luck with pc's!

Having this problem for the last month where the pc is fine on the internet/multiple pages 99% of the time only froze/locked up once while doing this but as soon as i plays games it works for mabye 10 minutes ? and then frezes to a black/brown screen with lines down it ? have to turn it of at the power switch ? any ideas what the problem is cause by ? :mad:

cant play games cause of this so no point buying dragonborn dlc

Case-Zalman Z11 with 4 case fans one intake three outtakes
Amd [email protected] ghz with a corsair A50 cpu cooler
8gb corsair low profile ram
Msi twin frozer 7950

Could be RAM, Have you tried testing each stick individually?

Tried reseating gfx card and cables?

if you go to event logs, is their anything within the system / app logs logged around the time of the crash which give some reasoning as to what caused the crash?

hello thanks for the help im going to try move some cables and check everything is seated how would o go about testing the ram? boot with one stick?

Yeah, swap individual sticks out and run memtest or prime blend for a few hours.

Could be your gfx card though, especially with the brown screen. Tried reinstalling gxf drivers and reseating the card? Dust it off if it's old?

Aww no lucky so far going to have a freind have a look if not ill need to pay someone to fix it , then get a new cooler

and a new desk and my pc will be done! Cheers for all the help guys
