PC randomly powers off.

Just wondering where I need to start with this.

Every now and again my pc powers off, no blue screen or freeze, its just like the cable as been pulled from the psu.

Then when I try to turn the pc back on I doesnt even get to the bios loading screen and It shuts down again. To start my pc so it boots into windows I have to remove all the cables except for the power lead. (usb mouse, keyboard, duel dvi cable, wireless booster,) then quickly put them back in once ive hit the power button.

Sometimes the power button on the tower is unresponsive untill ive done the above.

pc spec:

GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 REV 1.0 BIOS F5
i5-2500K overclocked to 4.40hz
460 GTX sli
Kingston HyperX 4gb
Intel X25-M 120GB
Antec TP 750w blue
windows 7 64bit

Ive taken everything apart and cleaned, repasted the cpu. made sure theres no loose connections. Ive got no problems with temps.

seems strange

any ideas?

Are you sure your overclock is stable? run Prime95 for over 8 odd hours, run Intelburntest for say 20+ runs.

Remove the overclock and put it all back to stock settings and see if it continues?

yea the overclock is stable m8, I got it part of a bundle from overclockers, been using it for the best part of 6 months.
