I have had some very odd thing happening to my pc today.
Earlier I had a look through some old games and installed x-plane 8, played it for a while and then closed it down and went to open internet explorer to do some surfing and my pc shut down, the fan were still going but the screen was not getting a signal as it came up with the "power saver" mode message.
A press of the button shut the pc down and then over the next few restarts i did, different things happened, my mouse wasnt recognised and then my keyboard, also the numlock key came on at another boot even though it is switched off in the bios.
I tried to play f1 2010 and as soon as I got on the track the pc rebooted, the same with Crysis 2 after a minute or two.
I shut down my pc switched it off at the plug, came back after tea and now everything is working ok.
At first I thought it was the graphics card going but it wasnt under any stress and the fans on it hadnt speeded up when it rebooted, the processor was only in the high 30c as well.
It has worked perfectly up to now, so was it the software that messed everything up, very odd
