PC Rebooting

Guys,

New PC build last week but having some issues.

Intermittently it just reboots itself.

Its fine during normal operation only when I open something taxing and even then it seems to be random.

There is no BSOD and disabling auto restart does nothing as it just reboots anyway.

Dont think its overheating as it can happen after 10 seconds or it can happen after 4hrs.

Event logs dont show much..just the usual kernal power entry for when a machine goes off unexpectedly.

Everything I can see is pointing towards dodgy PSU..is there anyway I can tell for sure before I RMA it?

Spec-

i5 2500k
MSI P67A-GD53 Mobo
8gb Corsair Vengeance
Antec 750W High Current Pro PSU
Be Quiet Dark Rock Advanced Cooler
Crucial 64GB M4 SSD
Gainward GTX 570 Golden Sample Goes Like Hell
Corsair 600T Case

Im kinda limited in swap outs I can do.

I disconnected everything plugged into PSU except OS Disk and GPU and got the same fault.

As a kinda last resort I swapped out the CPU cooler for the stock one and while it runs a bit hotter it certainly seemed more stable.

Could it be the cooler? Temps were way down so wouldnt have thought that would be the case..possibly just coincidence?

The RAM does sit pretty close to the cooler and I was slightly concerned during the build about how close it was but its surely not shorting or anything? Id imagine it would do that when first turning on?

Yeah okay so this is doing my nut in.

Same thing happening with stock cooler so there goes that theory.

Same with either dimm in any slot.

Ive tried running some GPU benchmarks and sometimes it skips through them flawlessly and other times it craps out before it even starts.

My main problem is how intermittent it is..makes troubleshooting a nightmare.

I've made an executive decision and ordered a new PSU in the hope thats what the problem is..if it is i'll RMA the old one.

Any opinions or further TS steps?
