On startup, my PC always reboots itself once, and it is always midway through the Windows loading screens. I've tried a lot of things, and am 95% sure that this isn't software related. When the problem started, I was running Vista. At the time I ran HDTune and Chkdsk, and also updated my graphics drivers.
The problem remained so, due to this (and curiosity), I upgraded to the Windows 7 RC, and installed all my drivers etc. The exact same problem still occurs; halfway through loading Windows, the PC reboots itself once. It's never before Windows begins loading, and once in Windows is completely stable.
I have absolutely no idea what the problem is. HDTune and Memtest both come back clean, and I assume it's not software related, as it's the same issue over two different OSs. The only thing that I can think of is the graphics card, but this doesn't explain why it reboots itself once and only once. If there was a graphics card issue I assume that the number of reboots would be random.
Anyone got any ideas for this weird problem?
