PC Reboots when playing games

As title say my PC is rebooting while playing games. It's quite dodgy really. It doesn't always do it. I can be playing for hours and its fine and then other times literally 5 mins. My spec is:

Gigabyte 970A-DS3P Mobo
AMD FX-4350
AMD Radeon R9 380
8GB 1600Mhz Avexir Ram
550w SuperFlower Gold PSU

It was doing the same sort of thing with my old nVidia GTX 760 card which I have replaced thinking that was the issue. I have since found out that I was wrong but the nVidia is faulty as the HDMI port doesn't work in my partners rig.

I have ran Memtest and swapped out the RAM. Temps are all good. Bit stuck now. Don't want to waste more money on parts that wont fix it.

PSU possibly or something heat related. Have you got Afterburner running to monitor temps?

Yeah, got temps monitored that was my first port of call really. Temps are all fine CPU is at Max 32deg under load and my GFX Card sits at between 60 and 65.

As already suggested, my next step would be the power supply - swap it out with a known good unit if possible

Just a thought - did you fully remove the old Nvidia drivers before installing the new card?

Yes I did still no result unfortunately.

as said before, sounds like a PSU. hopefully that swap sorts it out.

PSU Replaced and Swapped Memory. Problem still continues. Fresh install of Windows as well.

So basically only thing left to swap out is the cpu and mobo.

Think something wrong there. That reading is way too low for most CPUs under load. That's idling temps, man.

What program are you using to monitor temps?
