PC Repair Toolkit

oooo, this is one that i was gonna post about, i need a decent one as well for that amount of money.

My pc toolkit consists of a box of screwdrivers I already had, a few kettle leads, a few jumpes and an anti-static bag or two

1 Philips screwdriver.

That is one pricey screwdriver you have there. :p

The_KiD, what exactly do you want the toolkit for? Although I'm joking with Slinwagh I've built a great many PCs with nothing more than a screwdriver. Are you planning to go into the PC repair business? If so you might also need a set of pliers, a range of jewellers screwdrivers (for laptops etc), a magnifying glass, can of compressed air, possibly an anti-static strap and maybe an RJ45 crimping tool. There might be more but that is what I'd start with. I don't know of any toolkits offhand that have all those but even if I did it would be difficult to suggest one and not breach the no naming of competitors rule. :)

1 x Phillips head screwdriver
1 x Bent nosed pliers for getting to awkward places
1 x Can compressed air

Then screws, leads etc.

Don't need anything else and it's getting so that most of the time, I don't even need the screwdriver.

Yeah is for PC repair business.

I have been fixing PC's for some years, so know that a Philips is all you normally need, however there are the times when, a Flat bladed screw driver, tweezers, needle nose pliers, Torque screw drivers, mini screw drivers, etc are all useful.

Compressed air would be good too.

What I am ideally after is one carry around kit/breif case that contains all these things and maybe more.

Agnes & Gumbald.

OOPS!! Link removed - sorry dudes!

The two guys at the top of the thread that said they were looking for the same as I was.

No mate there not, I'm not sure of the exact terminology of the rule but there is to be no linking or passing of links to competitors or hints or disguised information etc.
