PC Restart Problems

Every time I either restart the PC, exit bios or press the rest button the PC turns off then automatically comes back on.

The weird thing is, when I have the Vcore at 1.32V, its fine, anything inbetween that and 1.38V it shuts off, above that it is also fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Will.

I also get the same thing happening with a P5Q-E. I think it's normal? When I restart from Windows it briefly turns off, then back on. Strange behaviour, but I figured it was supposed to do this. Also, when powering on after I've had the power cable pulled out, the system turns on, off, then powers back up after about 3 seconds. Also happens when saving and exiting BIOS after changes.

My ASUS mobo has always done that. I read somewhere before I bought it that ASUS mobo's do it when the FSB has been OC.

Double-boot is pretty normal on Intel boards, especially if the northbridge isn't on the default strap.

double boot everytime even when pressing reset button, exiting bios or restarting windows?

On my P35 It only did on on first startup like when the power has been off at the mains, when switching the PC on it does not double boot here.

And if I change the VCORE to certain voltages it does not do it too.

Have the same problem i have the P5Q-Pro. Been asking around why it has been doing this - no answers. 9x333 Clock.

Well I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's board is doing this.

The P5Q-E is the weirdest board I have ever owned. I do love it though.
