Hi i have build a custom pc about 5 months ago and recently i have some weird problems ..
My Setup..
Windows 7 Ultimate (x64)
Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8P67 PRO Rev 1.xx
CPU:3.40 gigahertz Intel Core i7-2600K
GPU:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 [Display adapter]
HD:Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 32MB Cache
ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
PSU: corsair Enthusiast Series TX850 V2 - 850 W

When i hit the button for the pc to power up .. after a few seconds .. before it even goes to bios my pc restarts itself..
sometimes only once then it powers up .. sometimes more..
Sometimes it says Hard disk not found !
And sometimes if pc is left idle for sometime i get a blue screen..
ive noticed that changing HD sata ports to marvel it restarts usualy once before booting..
Also today when i touched on the back of my pc i felt some electricity leak ..
Anyone have an idea whats happening and how to fix it ?

is the system over clocked at all ?

if it blue screens record the info on screen and post it, also look to check your event viewer for the time when it does as it might give you useful info.

have you got your hard drive set on the first sata port of the mobo.

all power connections and sata cables secure.

run memtest over your memory.

check the temps for your cpu (coretemp or real temp) and gpu (gpu-z)

is your psu secure to the case, no loose screws etc.

is your mothboard bios up to date, maybe check the asus website to see if there are any new updates and have a look at the issues they help resolve.
