I've just fitted a brand new Intel Core i7 and Asus P6X58D-E Motherboard to my current rig and I am having severe problems. When I play a game (e.g. World of Warcraft) after about 10mins the computer restarts. It's also happening when I video chat on Skype.
I ran a OCCT Stress Test on my nVidia Geforce 460 and the minute the test started, boom! restart.
The weird thing is though is that the machine restarts even when just sometimes browsing the web or when I'm unpacking something big through WinRar.
What is the cause of this problem? The processor? (ran a stress test and it was fine), my power? (I currently have a 500w PSU) or is it the card or even the board?
I have posted this on other PC based forums and I'm getting conflicting results. Some are saying it's the GPU others are saying the power or even my memory. I am really REALLY confused.
Please help
