A Gigabyte P45 or one of the Asus boards. I got a P45 DS3P second hand for £55 inc. Think you can get a new one for about that now

Surprised? no. Dissapointed? Yes very much so, then again, the last bios update they did on that motherboard was in 2007.

Hence why im taking the oppurtunity to get rid seriously, plus i bought the system at a price too good to turn down. :cool:

Shopping around for a new mobo, whats the difference tween the P43/P31 and the G41/G31 chipset, quite a big premium for the former compared to the latter.

This whole motherboard thing has got my head spinning

erm not sure on the difference i think the p series OC better....someone can probably give you a better explanation.

I have a P5B deluxe, overclocks sooo easily its great! Has crossfire support too.
