Is that a 120hz monitor?
You need a Dual Link DVI cable, I think. Make sure the DVI cable you have is Dual Link. If it isn't, I believe it can cause some issues with 120hz monitors, specifically fuzziness.

Edit: You should be able to tell if it is Dual Link by seeing if the plug has the full compliment of pins.

Are you using the DVI cable that came with the monitor? Have you tried a different DVI cable yet? And since you have two graphic cards, the bottom one's output display will be disabled as you're running in SLi/Crossfire mode. This is normal.

Please tell us your full system specs, that way we can help you.

hi my pc is
windows 7
intel(R) core(TM) i7-2700k CPU @3.50GHz
16 gig ram
mother bord is maximus iv extreme-z
grafix card is 2 msi twin frozR NIVEDA GeForce GTX 580

the dvi cable i am useing was brout brand new the one that came with moniter was missing due to 2nd hand
the cabel pin looks like this
_.... ....
.... ....
some thing like that its dvi d and moniter is 120 hz

the dvi cabel i have brout is pure connectivity
featers are
dvi-d connection cable
single link
high qulity shilded cable for pin sharp images

It's single link. Your monitor is 3D, you need a dual link cable. Buy a dual link DVI cable and see if it can display the full 1920x1080 resolution @ 120hz.

i can see if i have the resilotion set to 800x600 and 60hz but if i got to the native resilotion at any hz it goes all disscoloured as if the cabel is half hanging out witch it ant and the nativ resilotion is 1920x1080

but why would it work fine at 800x600 and not at 1920x1080 ?

Because 800x600 does not need as much bandwidth as 1920x1080. I would try another monitor with the same cable, either it's a faulty DVI port on the card, faulty DVI port on the TV, or faulty cable.
