Hi folks,
So I bought my pc from OCUK in Jan 2016, I tend to buy a new one every 5 years or so. I buy all the bits and my friend and I assemble it, this is my 3rd PC from ocuk.
I'm guessing the mother board is dead but the system is only 2.5 years old so it seems unlikely? My friend does most of the build usually and I just help out. However I think i've plugged everything back to the way it was. (I'd taken pictures beforehand haha) The only thing different was the modular psu I was using, had an additional 4 pin CPU power cable, the 650 didnt. However the MB manual I found said the additional power wasn't required unless expanding?
I tried calling a local pc repair shop but they said due to the 2011 socket, he doesn't even have a like mb to test it with. I really dont want to shell out another 2k on a PC 2.5 years later, but it's an enormous part of my life (sad as that sounds) and I've no idea what else to do.

- About 3 months or so ago, the pc failed to turn on (I pushed power and nothing happened) I turned the power at the wall on and off, unplugged the main power cable, plugged it in and the pc magically sprung to life. This happened intermittently until Sunday when it failed to come on at all, regardless of switching it on / off etc.
- I thought initially it was the PSU, so went out and picked up a 650 corsair, went to the trouble of removing all the cables etc and switched over the PSUs.
- PC still wont come on and now i've no idea what to do. I can try unplugging the gfx card and booting it but other than that, i'm not sure what options I have.
