Hi there,

wonder if you could help me with this one

I have a 360 and PC - in a different room to my router ... I have one network cable going from router to PC

I have Kaspersky on my PC, and NAT firewall in router as well, I have 2 network adpaters on my motherboard

PC connected to router
360 connected to other network port on PC

I want to share the Internet connection to both 360 and PC .... but I want to be able to keep PC at a high level of protection within say Kaspersky, but 360 - doesn't really matter

I've currently tried Bridging the two - which works, but my 360 flags up as being behind a moderate firewall ... presumably because of Kaspersky ?

I did try a Network hub for a while - ie router - hub which is also connected to 360 and PC - but it was a real pain. Randomly and quite often you'd boot up and the PC could not see the internet ... could see local network but not internet.

About 5 reboots of the Network hub normally solved it ? !!! - bizarre

was a right faff !

any ideas please, thanks, Mark.

What "hub" was it - the easiest answer would be to connect the cable from the router to a switch, then the 360 and PC to that.
A KVM would be as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.
