PC shuts down when knocked

Hey,

Got a PC that just black screens and restarts if you knock the PC case.

Amd 1090T
Asus M4A78T-E
Ati radeon 5870

Can't seem the find the reason for the crash

All connections connected securely, motherboard not loose?

I could say stop knocking your case >.<

Well, you may have a loose cable(s) inside, might be worth checking that they are all connected well and all your HW is seated correctly. but i'm sure you did that so..

I also have a laptop that if you even breathe on it it goes corrupt and goes blank.... how old is the build, if more than 3 years you may just have mobo/chip on its last legs

Its been rebuilt and I've checked everything but the CPU. I'll bring it home and recheck everything

Aye sometimes just stripping it down and treating it to a hose down works well, reseat cpu i would suggest as a last throw of the dice. Good luck.

If after checking everything it still does that, then go barebones ... add components one at a time, see where the problem starts.

Local car wash should do the job. Its shorting on something probably or its the hard disk taking exception, good excuse for ssd
