Pc slowing down...

Any idea why my pc shows down as time goes by? I leave my pc on for days at a time (usually 7-8) and I notice that the pc gets slower as time goes by.

Any reason for this, and is there any way to stop it?

program with a memory leak? I know firefox used to have this problem (might still do) that if you left it open it would slowly consume more and more memory....

I've been noticing firefox is slower than it used to be, but even with all main applications closed, the OS interface is still really sluggish :/

Use task manager?

Check which programs are maxing your CPU/Memory.
