Can anyone tell me if there is any Windows software about so i can send sms messages through my android (2.2) phone via my laptop? I send quite a lot in the course of my business and its a pain in the ash hole to be honest. (Yes, i did say "ash hole".)

MyPhoneExplorer will do it and a host of other things aswell you dont even need to plug the phone into the laptop as you can do it via the local wifi!
Ive used MPE for years on my old Sony phones then switching to android I found I could still use it, Wish my Omnia 7 would work this way its one of the main downfalls of the Windows Phone 7 OS for me

Airdroid you can do a lot of things on your phone through your web browser. It works really well.
